Natalie Carrignan

Director of Technology, Westport Public Schools

Natalie Carrignan has been the Director of Technology for the Westport Public Schools since 2006. In addition to managing the technology department, she is in charge overseeing the information and technology literacy (ITL) curriculum and department, which is staffed by their library media specialists and technology teachers. Natalie is also the district testing coordinator. Natalie began her career in Stratford, CT in 1992 as a fifth/sixth grade language arts and social studies teacher. She transferred to second grade two years later and fell in love with that age group and curriculum. She was part of the district curriculum committees and participated in specialized reading and writing training within the district.
