AI as a digital assistant
Teachers are adopting digital assistants in the classroom, such as the famous Amazon Echo gadget, which many parents of home-bound students utilized last year to help with their children's educational routines. It's a method of delivering technology to children where they are and when they require it. The Symphony Classroom device by Merlyn Mind, billed as the world's first digital assistant for education, has been integrated even deeper by one California school system. Edge AI, which combines artificial intelligence and edge computing technology, powers the device.
AI for next-gen cybersecurity solution
AI and machine learning are also reshaping cybersecurity and the IT business. Instead of always chasing after harmful activity, these technologies can provide IT security professionals with a mechanism to enforce good cybersecurity practices and decrease the attack surface. Cybersecurity solutions based on AI and machine learning are gaining traction in school districts because they free up time for small IT teams and allow them to scale security as huge device fleets are introduced.
AI for improved communication and teaching
Chatbots powered by artificial intelligence has been found to increase classroom productivity and assist teachers in communicating with parents. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, even new applications for chatbots have emerged. Chatbots could assist bridge the equity gap between students who cannot afford private, traditional tutors and those who can, with tutoring considered as a method to helping pupils overcome the COVID-19 learning disruption.
